Zuck, Marketplace Full of Scammers

Of my several listings, all but two buys have been scammers.

The U.S. Armed Forces often use the acronym SNAFU.

When I experience difficulties using Facebook or Instagram, I amend the term to SNAZU. This is an accurate summation of your platforms. SNAZU stands for Situation Normal, All Zucked Up.

Beware Facebook Marketplace is crawling with scammers

I have listed seven items for sale via Facebook’s Marketplace in the last few weeks. So far, all but three “buyers” who contacted me are scammers.

Zuck, you are into everyone else’s business. Why do you do such a poor job of shutting down scammers? There are many between Facebook and Instagram. They swarm like flies when a new product posts in Marketplace.

How do scammers attack Facebook Marketplace sellers?

Scammers first send the automatic request: “Hey Donny, is this still available?” Nothing fishy there.

After three weeks of this, I check the link to the “buyer’s” Facebook or Instagram profile before answering. Many inquiries routed to Facebook’s Messenger app from bogus Instagram accounts. The information about the “persons” on Instagram were…
