Well, when I was teaching Divorce Care at church years ago, I heard that. The reference appears to be Malachi 2:16.

But a Google search of “what God hates,” brought me to this listicle in Proverbs:

Proverbs 6:16–19

New International Version

16 There are six things the Lord hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
17 haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
19 a false witness who pours out lies
and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

Please know I was not judging. Believe me, I’m not one to talk as I have been through two of them! In many ways, I’m still feeling the effect of the second in 2010. Twelve years ago.
