Time For Something New

It’s almost never too late try something new in life.

My mom, Cindy, joined me to tent camp for six nights in the UP!

Greetings, this time from Montgomery, Alabama.

Maycee, my Great Pyrenees, and I spent 13 weeks and four days tent camping on my dad’s land in Upper Michigan this summer. For the now, we are visiting family in Montgomery, Alabama.

My Mom, the Bravest Tent Camper of All

To my utmost surprise, my mom, 70-plus, drove from here in Montgomery to Marquette, Michigan in two days. With her, she brought a new tent, a sleeping bag, her dog, some lanterns, etc. She spent six nights and days tent camping with me on the family land.

Tent camping amazed many that I was out on the land at my young old age and while struggling with my health.

But mom raised the bar even higher. She proves that it’s almost never too late to try something new in life.

I Am Behind In Production

Maycee and I left the Upper Peninsula and spent 18 hours driving straight to Montgomery. We arrived on a Friday at 2 a.m.

On the following Monday, with an emptier car, we drove to Mesquite, Texas, to room overnight with friends. This allowed me to see my two daughters there and get my iMac…
