Quite frankly, Im amazed at the number of people who put their everything into the guts of Google. It's like the modern day AOL. And as a savings measure, generations are being raised to live off this system. Now Google is even working to develop an online banking system. So, the platform that has your calendar, every sentence you've ever written, ever search you've ever made, often has your credit card info, knows where you live, where your business is located, knows your contacts if you have one of their phones, knows what you watch on YouTube, knows your keywords, knows the demographics to those who respond to your keywords, has units for your home like Amazon and Apple, etc. knows way the F too much about you. They can read everyone of your emails. And then you're going to give them your social security number, and put your money into their banking system? Um, no thank you. They likely share this info. You know the government is tapped in. Nothing to hide, you cliché. But in this time where we know plenty of examples of how Big Tech is censoring and turning things over to the government, I find using them for much more than Analytics and YouTube more than they should know as is. I've used ionos.com for 12 years now with my own domain names for mail and I see no reason to change. I use Microsuck's 365 for Word, which is troubling in itself because of their ownership of Facebook, (which I've pretty much stopped using) and Insta, which I enjoy, but everytime I hit the post button, I cringe inside. Bill Gates has never had an idea he liked that he didn't steal. He's somehow become a guru on viruses. These companies know way too much about any of us and with all the other government overreach we've seen the last three years, well, I'm quite leery about any of them these days. It's already clear that Twitter is engaged in censorship, and FB, which I say is a SNAZU, (Situation Normal, All Zucked Up) comes from the military term of SNAFU. I'm a Mac guy and I've become concerned about Tim Cook and his agenda as well. The whole industry knows way the Eff too much about our every keystroke. Way too the Eff much. Thanks for your post. You can tell me to get a tinfoil hat all you want. You're real funny and quite frankly, living in denial when you make such comments. I feel much better being on a different platform for mail all together. It establishes a wall of some fashion. But when I pull my accounts into Mac Mail, I'm giving my info to Tim Cook again. And then there's iTunes..... See, it it all too much intertwined. Many thanks for posting Jim. Sorry today was the first time Medium shared this with me.....
