Hurricane IDA shy of becoming a Category 5 Hurricane

This morning I’m calling through others to join in positive prayers for those in harm’s way around the globe. Please pray for the people of Louisiana, who will get hit the hardest by Hurricane IDA. At 0800 hours today she had winds 7 mph short of becoming a Category 5 storm. The word primary word used to predict the level of damage: CATASTROPHIC!

Even before landfall, crews staged for the aftermath

For those who stayed home in the path of this incredible storm, life is about to alter in a significant way. We must also think of the Federal Emergency Management workers already helping.

Texas and Alabama have electrical recovery crews on standby. Alabama’s crews are ready to first address their local issues. But all roads leading to the damage soon will have caravans of power company trucks.

One solid verse from 1 Peter 5:7

Today’s first Bible verse is 1Peter 5:7, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” We are called to do this all the time. Beyond occasions when massive physical storms come about. Though in these instances, the words seem to have greater meaning.
