Nevile and Yuliia, respectfully, are either of you psychiatrists? Ones who have evaluated Putin? Or can you cite a reference affirming he is a "madman?"

Consider the Heartland Theory developed by Halford Mackinder which essentially suggested that whoever controlled the Heartland of Eurasia, would control the world.

Also consider the many resources that Ukraine has buried for millennia that are of great value and in finite supply.

Now add America's interest in having an "agreement" with Ukraine, questionably fostered, I might add, by Hunter Biden.

But keeping the Biden Family out of this for the moment, let us reflect on history for a moment. There was a time when Nikita Khrushchev had a deal with Fidel Castro to put Soviet ICBMs in Cuba.

As Soviet ships steamed toward the island 90 miles from south Florida, President Kennedy had something of an issue with the Soviets parking warheads off the coast of the continental United States.

That was the only time when it is believed that the nation's defense status ever reached DefCon 2.

B-52 alert crews stationed at Strategic Air Command bases across the country, who already had a confined area while on alert were required to stay buckled into their seats.

In those days, Kennedy was the one threatening to start WW III. Does that mean he was a madman? After all these days it's reported that in the last half century or so, America has been involved in interfering in elections and regime changes some 70 times. Of those, only 6 did Americans know about at the time they were taking place. The other 2/3rds of the time, our efforts were classified and kept out of the public light.

So since there were Republican and Democrat presidents in those times, does that mean every president since Roosevelt was a madman, too? They did many of the same things.

I was raised as an Air Force Brat. Believe me, I bleed red, white, and blue, and still think everyone should stand for the National Anthem before a movie starts in a public theater.

But before we go on with the diagnosis that Putin is a madman, I respectfully submit America has carried out some very similar practices, and likely still are.

After all the ways the Intelligence apparatus has given American citizens bogus information over the last several scores, Im more leery these days of making assumptions and not questioning what we're being told. especially by our own government. Even by our own news media. The ones who tell us daily that Ukraine is a democracy. Something it is not now and never has been, for instance....
