My Missed Connection With A Muse

Marquette, Michigan, I need your help finding her again.

Friday, a little before 9 a.m. at the McDonald’s in Marquette, Michigan, I had what my eldest daughter says is a “missed connection.” Besides not getting a name, phone number, or any other lead to search with, as a writer, the result of not finding this definite Muse is at stake.

No, I’ve not posted to the Marquette, Michigan area code 906 Craig’s List missed connections section.

Instead, I’m writing this piece in hopes of someone here in the Upper Peninsula knowing who she is and suggesting she read this. As a writer, finding this woman is in someway tied to my literary success.

Read on and you will see why….

Someone, Probably Many in Marquette, Know(s) Her

She is the prettiest woman I’ve seen the last 11 weeks of tent camping here in the UP. She is my age-ish.

Her hair, brunette/black.

She wore a tan, London Fog-ish trench-/rain- coat. My assumption is that where she works, they observe “casual Fridays.” Hence her wearing Capri-ish blue jeans.
