Ms. Montez, perhaps you should look at all of this with an open mind.
Yes, it does seem that there are many who are doing the living in a shack in the woods or criss-crossing the country in vans. Could either of us done that at a younger age with quite the same success?
Not likely because YouTube did not exist. Access to High 8 mm video cameras with sound and “camcorders” still did not offer the editing opportunities to monetize like these women do today.
My Life At KI Sawyer AFB Leaves Me Wanting To Go Back
From having lived three times on KI Sawer AFB, now closed, in the Upper Peninsula about 25 miles south of Marquette, I’m aware of how cold living in their residences is during the winter months.
My Disagreement With Your Points About Isabel and Hannah’s Homes
Isabel Paige clearly has running water from a pump in her cabin. She has a wood stove.
While visiting a family in the Montgomery, Alabama area before Christmas in 1990, I learned that a stove like each of them has would persuade me to go about in my smalls. A fire like that is hot and dry, probably well above 78°.
And you mis-characterized Isabel’s and Hannah Duggan’s palaces. Each have electricity. Hannah in the past year and a half installed a septic tank. Admittedly, at that latitude, it could well freeze in the dark, cold months in which we now live.
If you go back to when each of them moved in, their abodes have insulation in their walls, flooring, and attics. Just watch video from December and January that Hannah shot while installing more into her place. While her place has way too many windows, where there is a way for a wall to get packed with insulation, she has done an install.
She also has put a considerable about jazzing up her place.
There’s Nothing Wrong Help From Others
Isabell has that beautiful studio she had help building from her Dad, boyfriend, and even a day or two with Hannah. I’m not sure if it has a heater in it, but it, too, has electricity, so with a portable heater, it’s not an icebox.
Hannah clearly is a thrifter, sewer, and seller of the clothing she puts together and then sells on her eCommerce site. If you check it out, like the last time I did, all items were sold out, and for a reasonable price. Much more than the little she paid for it by thrifting.
The Goal In College Is To Create A Job Where Others Work For You
If you recall the scene from the movie Social Network, the Winklvoss twins are in with Harvard’s president, complaining about how Zuck borrowed their ideas for his own. (He ended up paying them $65 million in stocks.) Harvard’s president says that, “Most Harvard students spend their time here inventing ways to not need a job when they graduate.”
My Own Three Daughters
I’ve long expressed my opinion to my own three daughters that before they get married, I want them to visit at least three other continents. Live on their own for a while so they can learn to care for themselves. Hannah seems closer to reaching that point. I don’t think Isabel finished school.
But my what they know. They are each very smart women, all five of the ones I highlighted in that series.
They Have the Entrepreneurial Spirit
They are entreprenuers. Whether they are “acting” as you postulate, or not, Hannah has viewing totals greater than 2 million. Isabel has at least one video with 1.7 million or so.
With the endorsements they get, plus the selling of Hannah’s clothes, and the millions of views, neither one of them seem to be lacking in funds.
Yes, I too, have taken notice that Hannah’s van has Wisconsin plates on it and not Minnesota. But that misdirection is a logical diversion. Even on my own web protects, I dislike including my address, but these days, there are crazies everywhere.
Moving to the Country, Gonna Eat Me A Lot of Peaches
If you saw Tucker Carlson this week, he noted that we are living in a time where many, not just Isabel, Hannah, Sorelle, and Alexis, live in rural locations, off the grid, or somewhere close to it.
My heart sank when Tucker said that many a wise person is all about finding a piece of land within view of the shores of Lake Superior and moving there. That’s a secret I don’t like shared so much because people have a way of commandeering such places and ruining them.
They are Each Living Their Best Lives
But each of these ladies are telling stories about their young lives. They certainly aren’t of the persuasion of those mortal souls who spend their days tied to a TV screen going, “uh, uh, uh,” as they make some monster or soldier with a machine- or laser-gun killing other players or objects in a role-playing game.
So the facts of their story are not what you have taken issue with. At my age of now 56, I’ve spent the last 10 years thinking about moving up to our family land in the UP and doing the same thing as them. The difference is, they’re actually doing. So far, I’ve only talked about it.
That’s a reason to admire them rather than try and shame them.
