Ha! I've gone from intern to assistant press secretary for one, and press secretary for a second. Ain't enough money in the world to ever get me to put my name on a ballot in anywhere. Being a spokesperson is one thing. You get to be the representative persona for the good days and the bad, but when they're over, they are over. It's been 10 years-plus since I've been on TV in the Dallas media market and I still get people in my local Walmart who ask if I'm still with the local school district. Cos when I was there, I was on TV all the time. And now, I can say, "Nope!" smile, and head on out with my purchase.
