Dr. Conroy, I appreciate your commentary in respect to Americans treating the Russian-Ukraine War as a new series on Netflix. Yet, I'm not sure I agree with the rest. The White House is presently out of control. With Biden's escalating comments last weekend, he caused a continuation of the FUBARs and SNAFUs that flow from this administration like the Mississippi heads toward the Gulf. One cannot argue that the U.S. Intelligence apparatus is anywhere near a "crack team." It's more like most of them are on crack, rather. @TimAndersen, Ph.D., I appreciate the laws and equation presentations. As the son of a USAF historical expert and former B-52 pilot and instructor pilot, I've not ever heard such analysis. My post today, "Putin Using Pavlov to Break Zelensky, Kyiv," (https://donaldjclaxton.medium.com/putin-using-pavlov-to-break-zelensky-kyiv-20a5cbe28beb) takes a different scientific approach. Besides dogs salivating, Pavlov also discovered that animals under traumatic stress suffer mental breakdowns over time. Humans in war situations can also take so much constant bombardment and shelling. Look at what U.S. Grant did to take Vicksburg. Eventually, many Confederate soldiers of the garrison presented Gen. John C. Pemberton with a letter saying they could not take much more. Eating mules, rats, and dogs no longer provided the sustenance they needed to hold on. Pavlov found that most will crack after 30 days. They'll have a mental breakdown. We are nearing Day 40. That's 14 days longer now than, respectfully, Gen. Hodges cited. Putin set off the press yesterday because he was repositioning assets. Frankly, he doesn't need as large a force to take Kyiv. If his forces can finally cut off supplies to the city, the whole resistance will collapse. And per Pavlov, we are nearing that point where those left, the ones likely on the verge of losing it mentally, are also susceptible to imprinting. This is the time-frame where those surrounded write those hard-to-belive is possible letters confessing sins they'd never thought of. It's also a time where they can be persuaded to adopt new loyalties, ones they will not abandon when the smoke has cleared. So I don't think the laws and Silo equations you cite and be considered in isolation any more than the Pavlovian. There are many factors afoot. What helps the least is the continued wishy-washy, one-step forward, a block back, half a block forward, two blocks back, one step forward we've seen since Biden left for Europe. In many ways, VP Harris out performed Biden on the European stage. Of course, that is not saying much. What I regard now as the most serious situation is a "Sum of All Fears" scenario. One where a third-party rogue commits a heinous act, making it look like one done by the U.S., NATO, or Putin. As for what any of us here in the states can do right now, I'm at a loss for what you're suggesting. For one, as much danger as it is in at the moment, Ukraine is not and never has been a democracy. Proof is that Zelensky still isn't one in how he abolished 11 opposition parties the weekend before last, and while doing so, also took over the Ukrainian press. You might say these were emergency acts, but 13 months ago, he took three Russian TV stations off the air permanently. Biden's approval ratings are in the tank, many plan to vote in November. I'm working on a post of a number of Big-Tech censorship efforts the past week and a half. Patreon even went as far as to remove a person for something they deemed she said was offensive on a platform that had nothing to do with Patreon! I came to the conclusion in my piece that prayer is the best tool in my kit at the moment. And I'm writing here, and on my Disquisition newsletter over on substack to proffer counterpoints from the malarky we are being fed by the Intelligence apparatus. If there's anything else, please advise, sir. Respectfully, Donald J. Claxton
