Another great offering here, Tim. Keep it up. Doesn't the patience thing also tie in with Gary Vaynerchuk, Tim Ferris, the Heath brothers (Made to Stick,) Malcolm Gladwell, et al, whichever of them who speaks to the "10,000-hour rule?" (Ah, it is Gladwell in "Outliers.") The principle of paying ones dues? The Beatles leaving Liverpool and going to Hamberg for several years before making a return to England. And in some portion as well, the 80/20 rule, where one jetisons the 20 percent of things that are causing 80 percent of the distractions, delays, impatience, etc? By understanding the useage of time, by, as you often say, "showing up," that's what is the seed to success. Funny story. I once heard about Ferris. The person said, "Every time I see Tim, he's running through an airport trying to get somewhere on time." That was almost a decade ago. I wonder if things have changed. Good stuff, here, Tim. You're like having an adult in the Medium world reminding us we are all either grasshoppers, dragonflies, or caterpillars who have yet to spend time in the cocoon.
